These are an essential to our Woodburner and we wouldn'tbe without them. Also a few work a treat if the fire is well laid. Nice and easy to light a roaring fire, warm enough to please any discerning cat or dog. They do the job as they light the fire so great, but there are many of them which as very skinny and you end up having all the wood wool at the bottom of the box.

The media could not be loaded. I'm using on average between four and eight bundles per fire, which will probably reduce, when I get to the dryer logs in the shed/ Would highly recommend

They instantly ignite and hold a flame for a good minute or so, to give our logs sufficient time to catch. Thought I would give these a go for lighting my Wood burner. Excellent product, fire always starts first time and fume free.

Just received another delivery of these having bought them previously in October and the new ones are much smaller in size than before. Just put a few at the base of the stove with some thin kindling, layer some thicker kindling and top it with a couple of logs and away you go! .

No chemical smells and are so easy to get the fire going. Small for the money, they don’t burn for as long so aren’t as good value as the Log Barn eco firefighters we usually use and we will revert to the cheaper Log Barn ones when these are used up. They work brilliantly but is this another example of things getting smaller in size but costing the same?

With the old block of dusty smelly grey fire lighters I always washed my hands afterwards and didn’t really know what they were- with these it’s not worrying at all. I purchases these fire starters, as I was getting sick of buying tabloid newspapers, to burn.
