The cleaner does get warm but you shouldn’t be using this for any long periods of time. It is operated by a button (which looks like a switch). I bought this product to clean my very expensive gaming PC. - High power which blasts dust from wherever you use it.

I've always managed with canned air and assumed these were just gimmicky. It is safe to use on computers as well as my DSLR camera gear. - Easy to clean filter at the bottom that you can pop out, blast with air, and put back in.
