I will buy this again when it wears out in a few years from constant use. There has been no deterioration of the leather or the base, everything is still like new. Though I do use a t-shirt as a cover for the back. Very well built and sturdy.

I took my Costco office chair back to buy the lazy boy office chair and couldn’t be happier. I weigh about 235 and the chair is very comfy and works for my 6'-2" height. This is exactly the kind of chair I would expect from Lay-z-boy.

Nice real wood accents. aside from that, everything else works fine still. 13 months since purchase: a small portion of the leather on one of the seams on the seat has started to dry and crack, everything else is still like new. 32 months since purchase: the back is now starting to flake off as well, the seat i've given up on completely and just duct taped the entire surface, and sit on a towel if i'm not wearing pants.

One of the best I've ever owned. Keep in mind I'm only ~150 lbs, so someone heavier might give the chair more wear and tear. Yes it does stay in the furthest recline position if you lean back, but what office chair doesn’t do this without some kind of other device holding it in whatever degree angle recline you want? The recline is not far enough to matter anyways as I can lean back and still comfortably read a book or type(I’m 5’8”, 180lbs btw).
May need an additional lumbar pad if you have lower-back issues. Very comfortable. Will buy this one again if it's still being offered.
