Took it on it's first outing to Bali a few weeks ago, and it was great for taking landscape and portait shots. It also covers 85% of my video needs, working brilliantly with the EF-S STM lenses (eg 10-18, 24, 18-135 and the brilliant 55-250 and EF 40mm STM Pancake) on video shots. The surprise was that the new parents chose more of the frames taken with the 750D than the other 2 bodies.

I'm still learning the art of photography but this camera makes it so enjoyable. Battery life not as good as the 550 but still very good. I had some fun at the Bath and West Show on 30th May 2015 where the camera tended to under expose by around half a stop; I think that this was due to my spectacles not covering the viewfinder more than the camera. I think the wjfi facility, on both bodies, increased their spend on the results we produced.

I was not that impressed with the "screen" functionality, probably as I tend to use more AV/TV/Manual functions than "automatic" functions, although I am sure that it will be useful in many situations. Compared to the 800D there are few real differences other than price and sensor.

Firstly may I say that for those of you who appreciate the versatility, speed and lighter weight of a crop sensor camera over a full frame, will be pleased that this camera achieves all of these functions; albeit not delivering the same quality of a full frame camera produce, it produces images of a high quality at a fraction of the price. How good is the camera? Recently purchased the camera as i've been wanting to get into photography for some time now, but never got round to making the purchase.

I suppose the question has to be asked regarding how well has it functioned over the 18 months I have owned it and the quantity of use? The work Canon are doing on connectivity really enhances the usability of the latest crop of bodies and for the 750D a lack of Bluetooth is not an issue. I had a baby photo shoot yesterday for a friend and was able to use both cameras. It terms of functionality and control, apart from the excellent tilting touch screen facility, it is similar to operate as the 550d and previous generations.

I cannot see any difference between the two cameras and using the canon connect app with an IPad air and Galaxy Tab 8 using the Canon Connect app meant the parents could see the resulting shots straingt away. It is a marked improvement on the 600D. Only negative is the lack of direct link to PC/Desktop via wi-fi but there are fixes for this.
