Very useful if you want to connect an external audio source such as a CD player or an already amplified source. In addition to this, it is possible to send each channel to the auxiliary output for an external effects bank or even send the individual channel to the integrated effects bank. The manual, which I read cover-to-cover, is very easy to read and understand.

Within probably a half hour of unboxing, someone with no experience whatsoever with audio had everything plugged in and set up and working correctly. Maybe you can't get it due to lack of semicon I thought, but I was relieved to be able to buy it on Amazon.
