I originally gave this toy a poor review as it appeared to be used. The kit came with three separate dinosaurs and a little plastic tool to excavate (pickaxe/shovel). This kit has been great! My daughter loves dinosaurs, so this playset was an easy choice.

We’ve already hurried them again and continued our dig a few times over. Just be prepared to follow behind your kids with a dustbuster.

Her pediatrician says kinetic sand is an excellent choice for toddlers to play with. The sand is layered black and red (and sometimes mixed in transit) with the dinosaur bones already buried. This was a great purchase! I was worried bc in pictures on Amazon some people had boxes with the Dino’s.

My 8 year old loves this toy and has already spent hours playing with it. He is 3 and the small tool it comes with is very difficult to use at first for his age so we used a spoon.

However, I found a live unboxing of this kit on YouTube and clearly this kit differs from others in that the sand is not packaged in bags. Ours were buried in the sand and the product was new, no issues.
