For the best results, apply to pre lightened hair or as a tint on untreated hair. Directions semi permanent hair colours are never tested on animals. The strength of the colour is entirely up to you: dramatic on pre-lightened hair, subtler on untreated hair. White toner and silver especially need to go on white or very light hair as they tone out the yellowness of bleached hair, they wont make it lighter alone! And with no ammonia, peroxide or PPD, they are the safer way to colour your hair. We recommend that you google the colour that you like and see the different outcomes to decide what is the best shade for you, please note that if you have dark hair, the bright colours will not do much unless you pre-lighten your hair

1st photo shows the colour I start with ie my usual hair Colour LIVE vibrant violet. It worked really well over the more orange part of my hair too. After a trim, i noticed one bit underneath was just stubborn and did not want to lighten so it stayed an orangey pink where i wanted to put the blue, but i didnt want to push the bleach anymore!

That's why I've given it 4 stars. ) and using a conditioning hair mask, my hair was light blonde in places, but still had orangey parts and damaged on the ends!
