Hands down the best hard drive you could install into a PS4. 77 terabytes of data left after installing the firmware which is almost 900 megabytes as well as the formatting.

As another person pointed out in their review, get a Orico tool free enclosure (https://www. It does, however, pack a tremendous amount of mass storage in a small package that performs quite well. So I'm happy af. Within two seconds all drivers that were necessary to make the enclosure work installed themselves automatically.

Using Windows 7 partitioning and formatting tools, I created the maximum sized partition allowed for this drive and assigned a drive letter. ! 5mm 2. PS4 seems much faster than the stock 500gb as well.

Update: You will hear some clicking noise coming from the drive if you install it in your PS4 but this will subside after 15-20 minutes 81TB.
