, etc. There are also cheaper variants from third-party providers, but I chose this one because it was offered from the Amazon warehouse with a 20% discount and then takes less than 10 seconds. Object of the highest quality, as put in the mandatory title if like me the Mac also use it with audio controllers in my case a mwm phase combined with a 62 frog, not usable since the Mac has only two ports and when used with an unofficial external adapter, a routine takes over that sends a latency of many seconds to the user, effectively making the use impossible. By the way, the adapter came with me in an original Apple packaging, not like another comment here claims.

With the original apple adapters it never happened, I must say that I do not understand why, except some recognition protocol set natively on the Mac. I have now tried many apps on iPad Air 2020 (Vodafone Giga TV, Amazon Prime, AVM Fritz!

I currently have a MacBook Pro with M1 processor and wanted to improve my workflow a bit. Still a good alternative as a connection to old TV or projector devices. Since only the 14 and 16 inch models have an HDMI connection, this adapter is the only way to connect an older monitor. Full 4K at 60Hz is no problem and the image composition behaves normally, not like this display-link adapter, where the image is jerky at least with me.

After an odyssey of several HDMI adapters and “docking stations”, I really have to say that this adapter works best of all. The PD (Power Delivery) works well and awakening from an external keyboard (wired) also works smoothly. Greetings, if you had the patience to read everything. Authentic Apple adapter but 10€ cheaper than on the site.

Personally, an HDMI adapter with charging bypass would have been enough for me as for the iPhone, but that no longer exists in USB-C. ) and can say picture and sound are transmitted properly.
