After reading a dark romance trope, I needed something light and fluffy to cheer me up. Although the fake dating trope has been done many times before, the ‘making your ex jealous’ wasn’t at the forefront while reading. Honestly I had a hard time putting this book down. It was just that well written.

So much so that I didn't mind the third act conflict when it usually drives me bonkers. I love them so much and feel like no one else in this series could compare. I never wanted it to end. And Clay is the cinnamon roll hero fit for that job.

𝕧𝕚𝕣𝕘𝕚𝕟 𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕠𝕚𝕟𝕖. Clay was just 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩, he took his time getting to know Giana on a friendship level thus gaining Giana’s trust. I love these two so much.

Clay is the perfect book boyfriend who could be adorable and swoon worthy. For me, the main reason I enjoyed the book was that both protagonist were so likeable and enjoyable to read.
