Generally speaking this is a fantastic vacuum cleaner. I was horrified by how much it picked up when I had only done it 6 hours before! And it’s been used every day for a week and no hair wrapped and we all have long hair in our family.

I love the ability to detach from the main body to do the stairs. So after many recommendations and reading great reviews, I decided to treat myself to a new vaccum. It's now named Sharkey and is my new pet.

I now use the cordless for the hard floor and keep this one upstairs. Cons: quite heavy and takes a bit of practice getting used to manoeuvring. Only a few slight issues: the dirt cylinder is very small - I'll have vaccumed about 2m of carpet that contains labrador hairs and it needs emptying again, so I'd say owners of labs/heavily shedding dogs should be prepared to constantly empty it.
