No sound made from it at all. Sending it back. Love thisI'm currently being treated for nasal polyps and got told to try one to make my room more humid so my nose wasn't as try and this works a treat for small rooms wouldn't recommend for bigger rooms as it doesn't let out high enough volume of vapor for larger rooms but perfect for smaller rooms

Blends in well with colour decor. It just goes up slightly then falls right back on the machine. Since we have put it by his bed he has hardly coughed at all and is sleeping through the night again. Very impressed.
