The descriptions were all very beautiful and vivid and the history of the world was fascinating. ! I will be recommending the Ryiria series to everyone I meet for the rest of my days. I couldn’t put the damn book down to save my life!

Plus they had great banter and absolutely exquisite chemistry! The pacing of both the stories was incredibly done! I liked the relationship between the two main characters. With mister scowl on the front cover I would never have chosen this book if it hadn’t been a gift (yes, I judge books by their covers)!

Having said all that, the storyline is entertaining and engaging enough that I have purchased the next book in the trilogy. After a long search over the online book stores I finally get my hands on this and the this book deserves that from beginning to the end.

Nuff said! But the second half of Avempertha MORE than made up for that bit of boredom. Not once did I ever feel that the story was dragging. Well, maybe I was just a teeny li’l bit bored during the first half of the second book, when Royce and Hadrian were travelling to Dahlgren and Arista was traveling by carriage to whichever country she was to be the ambassador of.
