Thanks to Netflix for letting this happen. A bit long but totally worth it. A masterpiece [4] It stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci, with Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin, Stephen Graham, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jesse Plemons, and Harvey Keitel in supporting roles.

So well recommended, and the DVD itself is a fantastic looking choice for the shelf. The film marked Scorsese's ninth collaboration with De Niro, Scorsese's fourth collaboration with Joe Pesci and his first with Al Pacino. This is a masterpiece of a film and, though long, is a one of those you need in your collection if you're a fan of Scorsese, De Niro, Pacino, and Pesci. The film follows Frank Sheeran (De Niro), a truck driver who becomes a homicide man involved with mobster Russell Bufalino (Pesci) and his criminal family, including his time working for the powerful Teamster Jimmy Hoffa (Pacino).

He deserves an Oscar for his performance. I think Irishman is a very good movie. The Irishman (also known as I Heard You Paint Houses) is a 2019 epic American gangster film directed and produced by Martin Scorsese from a screenplay by Steven Zaillian, based on the 2004 book I Heard You Paint Houses by Charles Brandt. The criterion packaging is amazing as always.

His best work stems from this special gift: Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Casino and, as a probable last great achievement, The Irishman.
