Due to being hand cut and hand painted with all natural, non toxic, plant based stains the wood grain shows through the detail of these animals meaning each item has its own beautiful unique characteristics.

Each double page spread depicts a month of the year in stunning detail. There's delicate, rhyming text that corresponds to each month and a different animal home to explore through a peep through door. It's one of those books that should get a forever home on your bookshelf. The back of the book explores the things you can discover in the woods at that time of year and the animals.
