Once dried loosen the chain as it will be stiff and then reassemble onto your bike. This may be a small tub, but it'll go a long way. I’ve used it dry to lubricate my locks and my door hinges by painting on with a brush and then hoovering up the excess with my old hoover.

—Edit:Increased the stars rating because it’s actually working better in the wet weather than my previous dry lube. Hey presto no more oil on your chain. This PTFE dry lubricant is best combined with paraffin candle wax. If this was for my summer bike I would have patted both down with a dry cloth before fully drying.

It has worked so far, normally I’d use wd40 for everything but it would run down and stain the satin mat paint on the door frames as it seeped out whereas this does not. Much cleaner drive train and it doesn’t attract anywhere near as much muck off the roads. I just struggled a lot to apply it, I cycle a lot and I apply dry lubricant but wasn’t sure how to use this one. Best thing I have done and it’s been so wet and yet the cassette and chain have remained spotless.

Highly recommended for recreational or commuter cycling. and this thing protected my chain really well.

I coated both my rear cassette and my chain as this is what a guy said to do on YouTube. Then mixed until a milky consistency is achieved. Once all were added in the saucepan I continued to stir once every 1 minute for 10 minutes then removed both cassette and chain and dried over a empty cardboard box.

I think it’s also pricy (I did received it for a review). . This is a fine powder and will need a dust mask to handle.
