Single coffees take around a minute each, the latter two. I love the latte go milk solution, that gives you perfectly foamed milk every time. Everything fits together perfectly, the whole thing is precision built and just oozes quality,Making coffee is a cinch. If you take the water tank out, you will see the service door.

The buttons have an led light to show what setting you are on. A £500 this isn't going to be an impulse by and it really is going to have to justify its cost.

We've never had better coffee and it really is an integral part of the kitchen now. The unit comes beautifully packaged, with a moderate amount of cardboard and very little plastic.

For the coffee, espresso and americano options you can have either one or two cups brewing at the same time but you'll need to remove the milk frother attachment to give space for two cups. Cleaning is pretty easy, you rinse the water tank and milk cup as you would a normal dish, the coffee grounds waste goes in the bin and just a rinse collecting tub if need be, grease maintenance is to be done every 2 months according to the manual but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. When switching on you need to go through the filteration programme and set the water hardness.

The machine comes with a water hardness tester so you know what setting to keep this at. Saves you trips to the retail chains when you can make the same thing at home for less. The settings and the variations will take a little trial and error to get the flavour and size you're looking for out of the machine.
