Whether or not you are a fan of survival horror, or not, this game will be a worthwhile addition to your collection. Everything about this game is awesome. It builds tension to the extent that I have to pause the game and take a break.
The controls are quite tricky - and this proved fatal within the first few minutes of the game as I was killed repeatedly. It will scare the living daylights out of you - whether day or night. I was a bit overwhelmed after I started playing.
This game is absolutely fantastic. Order without delay! There is not a very big selection of PS3 games to choose from at the moment (good ones), but this is truly outstanding and I cannot recommend it high enough. The visuals are brilliant and the sound effects will make your skin crawl.
You really feel that you are lost, abandoned and alone in space in a ship infested by deformed humans and other not so human. This game gives the word 'interactive' new meaning. I bought this game having read no reviews at all. A word of advice - sort our your movements and get familiar with the controls before you enter the Ishimura.
I forgot about everything around me and was immersed from the very beginning.
