I don't do audio reviews - so pardon the non-techie parlance. I used to have to increase the bass & decrease treble on my previous (Pioneer) amp, but I have eventually just left them in the middle for this one.

I think this is a really well-engineered and aesthetically pleasing piece of kit. while easily dealing with noisier stuff like Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Immediately noticed a step change in the sound. Partned with a pair of small but good quality speakers and it is great.

It kicks out some very powerful and crisp sound - more power than I need (and I like it loud). I have eclectic tastes in music and this amp brings a new clarity to quieter passages on tracks by artists such as John Martyn, Radiohead,Ali Farke Toure etc. Obviously, you can pay more and pretend that your ears are accurate enough to justify it. In my humble opinion, I think this amp is excellent value.

Test was a DDD Mozart record and the depth, range and ambience is apparent. 1 speakers to go with it. Bass and treble controls are accurate.

I bought some Wharfedale 9. The reviews suggested I would be "blown away" by the sound quality. Has a pleasing quiet hum - just like amps should have.
