However. However these shelves were a dark red and it took 2 coats of Zinsser BIN and three coats of paint to get this result - the paint is quite thin. This paint gives a nice modern matt finish, and antique white is a lovely off white with no creaminess.

If you're painting dark wooden cabinets be aware that you will use a LOT of paint. Took 3 coats to get a solid enough finish but I love how they look and the paint went a long way.

Needed two coats to get best finish. I have been using this on furniture, and get the best results with a small roller. There is no way 2 coats without a primer would do a dark to light change, as they claim. Used same make paint for tiles.

It is not thick and easy to apply with a foam roller. Two coats of 1-2-3 white primer and then two coats of this cupboard paint, the coverage is really good. It was easy to paint with on a variey of surfaces but did need 3 - coats. We'll see.
