Sorry it is a silver one, but I do have black¬ This allows almost instant shooting availability. Superb addition to my Olympus Pen F. However, it seemed the perfect combination for a ‘run and gun’ street shoot!

It's ready to shoot every time. Great lens and price was good too altho' there were cheaper suppliers but this one offered next day delivery and UK based. Great with a Pen-F, but also works well on any camera with a flip up screen, shooting at waist level, no need to spend time raising it to eye level.

Not all the lenses were bought new for obvious reasons. This a great all round lens. It had free delivery but I paid for next day delivery which was under £5. I now have several of these lenses, complete with the auto lens caps, as the standard lens on several bodies.

Makes the camera pocketable so no need to rely on my point and shoot anymore. , but this way missed shots are rare, especially in street shooting.

Ordered it and in less than 24hrs it was on my camera. This was the first time I’d used the lens in a while, combined with my Olympus E-PL3 body [12MP].

Also easier to get pics of grandchildren/pets at their eye level. well worth it as I didn't want it getting stuck in the system over the bank holiday. Quick to focus, very light, silent operation and as sharp as I need it to be. However, having taken it out on a street shoot, over the course of the weekend, I thought I would update my review along with some sample images, taken straight out of the camera.

If there is time I can be more selective in lens used etc. The lens is very compact, in its closed state, which allowed me to put the camera/lens in my pocket during a number of rain showers that I experienced; obviously, neither the E-PL3 or 14-42 EZ lens are weatherproof!
