About this deal
Description
But usually, stepladders are just functional, dreary objects that you want to hide in a cupboard. Karl Malmvall's Step Stepladder from Design House Stockholm is another matter. You need one to hang up a light, reach for a book or the coffee grinder on the top shelf in the kitchen. No home is complete without a stepladder. Every TV mount or stand, designed to make your device safe and flexible for a better viewing experience, can stand the test of time.

Very happy and confident for future uses. The work great, fold up with one hand (smooth action), super light and sturdy. Use it appropriately, and it should perform well. It folds up thin, so it's easy to store out of the way.

Feature suggestion: Add a light friction mechanism to hold the stool completely closed for carrying or storage. I was able to re-shape the edge somewhat with pliers (using a soft cloth to prevent scratching the surface. That said, this damage does not impair the function, it's just cosmetic.

Don't toss it around or toss heavy objects at it if you want it to last long. This falls at the light end of the spectrum - easy to carry and move around.

Really lightweight, easy to open and close. Very flat, easy to store. Very happy with purchase. I'm an amputee and although at the time of typing I haven't used them, I do have confidence when I need to, to replace a light bulb etc.

It's easy to hold onto while carrying. If you are used to a safety barrier, this doesn't have one, it will take time to get used to the ladder as it doesn't give that safety feel. It looks nice.

Immediately upon opening, I noticed the stool had a bent edge on the top step (see photo). The steps are big. These ladders feel and look solid.

You can get heavy ones that can take a beating, but they're cumbersome to move around. I don't know if this damage happened during shipping or before, but clearly this edge is not designed to withstand much impact, and it seemed like the packaging was not designed to protect the stool adequately during transit. However the individual steps have bowed slightly under the weight of three summers climbing up and down them which is a pretty good review. Having had some high level storage fitted in my bedroom, I needed an access ladder that was not unsightly in use and could be stored unobtrusively in my new wardrobe.
