It's a pretty bulky vest compared to the other one he owns and therefore warmer, but more restrictive of his movements. If it's windy, I'll throw on an outer jacket with it. The inside lining is very soft, and that lining is in the hand pockets also. The vest is sized correctly ,it is extremely warm,and feels extremely durable ,you do not have to worry about it snagging and ripping easily at work.

This vest completely blocks the wind. He finds it really frustrating.

I'm wearing a size XL in the photos. Even with just a t-shirt underneath, it keeps me warm in 40º to 50º temperatures. It is lined with a velvet material that is very soft. The inner pocket is fully enclosed with a button so nothing will fall out.

Overall, he would prefer the inside to be less soft and the zipper to start from the other side. He likes that the collar doesn't have a flap and is very comfortable. It has 2 internal pockets large enough for a cell phone or pack of cigarettes.

I have received many compliments while wearing it so far. The zipper is tough and made of metal, not plastic.
