I was disappointed to see the radiator is damaged, with 2 dents already present out of the box. My office is about 3.

You do not get a remote control and the sides do get quite warm, so as with any heater care needs to be taken when it’s in operation. It heats up the room quite fast compare to other oil heater but of course slower than blowers and covector heaters. These do not affect the operation, but sending it back and hoping the next one arrives undamaged is a gamble in December. That said, once you figure it out, it does work absolutely fine, even if it is more complex than it should be.

This will burn off the “new smell” and any dust etc. This becomes more intense when it starts to heat. DHL delivered the item in its retail packaging which only has protection top and bottom. Gone is the rotary 24h dial where you painstakingly move one of the 120 notches to the “on” position to suit and then set it clicking away in the background like an egg timer.

Excellent oil filled radiator , heats up quickly , best function is the eco mode , we leave it on this mode all of the time and turn it down to about 15 when we leave the room and go to bed , annoying function is the loud audible beep when you turn the radiator on and off , that’s why we leave the unit on all the time and just turn down the temperature when it’s not required to heat the room up The pictures on Amazon does not show the radiator you will get, I have posted a picture of the radiator you will get.

Anything bigger would be too much. As for the radiator itself, it works exactly as it should. Luckily De,Longhi have posted 7 “how to” videos on YouTube which explains the process in easy to follow steps and once you’ve watched these setting the timer is a breeze. Instructions are next to useless, impossible to set the timer function using these.

I’m using this to heat a 3x3 Meter Conservatory and this radiator does this with ease. After a month in use, I can say it is far better than any other brands. On first use, set the time and turn it up full blast and run for a couple of hours in a ventilated space. 6m x 2.
