I will continue to use these as long as they make the shoes smell fresh. Own a pair of waterproof mesh trainers that were starting to smell slightly so bought the bananas to see if they could remove that. He also replied to my questions about care of bananas and how to use them more efficiently.

After reading some other reviews, I think these may have been from a defective batch, which is annoying. Absolutely brilliant! However, second time inserted they had already started to “ripen” with darker spots appearing the next morning.

Pop them inside they draw the moisture out while leaving them dry and smelling fresh. They have discoloured quickly - gone brown from where they touch my cleats, but as a banana, that seems only right! For the price paid, would have expected them to have lasted a lot longer. Not sure how they could last me 6-12 months.

Highly recommend to anyone who has experienced stinky shoes, particularly sportswear. My boys got real wet and I didn’t dry them out, got REAL smelly.

Not sure if they’ll last as long as they say, but so far they’ve completely freshened-up the boots. Worked really well to start but went molding looking after about 1 and a half months. Edit 16/4/22 - contacted by seller who said they were part of a faulty batch so replacement sent.
