99 for all. Since they were first published, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings have been two books people have treasured.

00, I consider it good value for money. Steeped in unrivalled magic and otherworldliness, these works of sweeping fantasy have touched the hearts of young and old alike. This is all I can say for now, I'd highly recommend these books for those new to the Tolkien world.

Nothing disastrous and certainly won't stop me from reading them, but still would have liked the books undamaged. The delivery was a pleasant surprise, as I ordered them on the Thursday and they arrived on the Friday (they weren't supposed to arrive until the following Tuesday) so this was very impressive especially as I don't have Amazon Prime. Between them, nearly 150 million copies have been sold around the world. Highly recommend, take a read!

The price, look and overall delivery was great. Books look great as a set but the return of the king and box is damaged. Books came in excellent condition, and such beautiful covers .

Having been a fan of the LOTR films (extended cut all the way! I wish only the maps were bigger, but I still give it 5 stars. Books came in pristine condition, and arrived a week earlier than expected.

they are not my favourite editions as the covers are a bit boring but you can't really find the older ones anymore so there are good. I have nearly finished reading The Hobbit and it has become one of my favourite books, I'm very excited to start reading LotR. Readers will be able to follow the complete story of the Hobbits and their part in the quest for the Ring - beginning with Bilbo′s fateful visit from Gandalf and culminating in the dramatic climax between Frodo and Gollum atop Mount Doom - while also enjoying over seventy full-page colour paintings and numerous illustrations which accompany this epic tale.
