Such a good book and also the sad story of the last Mughal. Detailed information of the period of 1857 The Last Mughal is the first book to comprehensively present the Indian perspective on the fall of Delhi and the Mughal Dynasty. Greatly written and well reserached book , go for it if you are a History Lover.

There are so many aspects to the Revolt of 1857 that we were unaware of, and this book has done an extraordinary job of putting things into perspective. William Dalrymple's efforts are visible in this book. !

Fearful Moments came in our Royal lives as well but its upto you to make a firm decision in your life as one moment came in the life Bahadur Shah Zafar on 16 September 1857 , he have to take a firm decision of leading his army of people and Sepoys but the firm decision is not able to execute because of Hakim Ahsanullah Khan and became a day to haunt the ZAFAR till his last breath in Rangoon . The book is surprisingly in better condition than I expected. This book is no different.
