Reviews

Stephen Hills

I read a review that says someone did it in 30 minutes, this is an unrealistic amount of time to plan for to build it if you want to do it right and make it look the best you can. This is totally unfair and i want £2 quid back. I can see from the reviewers photos the finished model looks very acceptable, even for an old fossil of a kit. But we'll see.

But hey! As i have not even started to build the kit yet i cannot comment on the fit of the parts. As you can see it looks great. That would be my recommendation.

The model itself doesn't take long to build, but because there are 114 decals and it takes a while to put them on. The model comes in white plastic and the directions say to paint it white, however I think unless you had an airbrush, painting the body of the aircraft white would be really bad idea. Thanks! The decal sheet looks very impressive and very colourful and in decent register though some reviewers said they had trouble with them.

Giorgio

I think a novice builder could build his aircraft however it takes a while to get good at putting decals on it and if you don't put them on right the aircraft can look really bad. The way I fixed this was actually using a sharpie pen to draw them in and I think it looks pretty good.

Pseudonym

Overall I think this is a great model and it was really fun to build! The only minor complaint I have is that there weren't any decals for the windows. Isn't that half the fun of kit building? 00 GBP.

As far as model airplanes go, this one's fairly easy to put together, however it does take a very long time. .
