I was in complete anticipation of tears while reading Hitchens final essays. Now I can smile knowing his wit, irony, and light burned as bright as the sun until his last moments. The content is grim of course, cancer is my ultimate fear (probably many others as well).
Good water shoes
Peace and Love All! I felt it hard to confront reality, but a journey that needed to be taken, unfortunately the subject was Hitchens.
😑 So I was bummed to find it bent in the box and now has a crease down it lengthwise.
Live a good life filled with friends, lovers, wine, and good books. Instead I found an inspirational and moving collection of stories.
Giving this book as a gift (on my son's wishlist). I cried the day I read he died.
