I set the sun for 6am, which whilst still early, would be a more gradual realistic jump for him. He has just turned 4 years old and will just shout from his room incessantly on waking, even if reminded it's not yet time to get up etc. our first child was up every morning at 5.

its very well made and was packaged really well and arrived on time! I bought one of those when my first child was just 3. The next question is do I try and use one with the 2. He was instantly really interested (which suprised me) and went off to bed very early because he was excited, around 5:30pm, in order to see the blue star and so on.

Love this clock great how the stars dissapear one by one as it gets closer to wake up time. This clock is life saver in our house and makes my toddler so excited.

He had definitely been sat waiting and watching as he made some comment about how the sun's eyes had been moving (but they weren't now) and so on. My only gripe is that the product had clearly already been opened and resealed - absolutely not OK when I've paid for a new product (photo attached). wopuld thoroughly recommend this to someone looking for help with baby sleep timesGood luck
