I bought a pack two years ago and they still last as long as I expect, whereas the others I bought have been sent to recycling as they wouldn't maintain themselves for long enough. Eneloop pro aaaGreat batteries tested at 950mah against 750mah for standard eneloops. But that may be down to my charger. I bought these for my Xbox one controller as i was getting fed up of getting through mountains of regular non rechargeable batteries and found myself torn between these are the more "affordable" Duracell/Energizer and the Eneloop's.

Unlike non-rechargeable batteries I find that you don't get much warning with Ni-MH ones before they are nearly completely depleted so it's a good idea to have a few pre-charged ones spare. - You get very little warning when the batteries are running out of charge. Cons:- Perhaps a little expensive when compared to non-rechargeable batteries but they really do pay for themselves after a few charges.

Also I note that the Xbox software detects and warns when these are nearly exhausted, whereas with the others there would often be no warning, suddenly mid game the control would shut down 😖. Things like digital cameras, remote controls, wireless computer keyboards, wireless mice, console joypads, Oculus Rift/Quest VR controllers, children's toys and even electronic doorbells, to name a few, all still seem to require them. They also claim to retain 85% of their change after 12 months if they are not used which is great news for the ones that I have stored in the man drawer. From fully discharged to full only takes a couple of hours.

If you're serious about your kit or are sick of batteries dying on you then get these! I have a man drawer with a few spares in that have been charged up so I always have some handy when I need them.

Of course it will be difficult to verify these claims for a while but if they fail to live up to expectations then I will update my review. They came charged to 1. This will be my third set I've bought of these amazing batteries!

My only word if warning though is that the package claims they are pre-charged. I have always used the VAPEX charger. These however go for session after session before they are discharged.
