It still has very lifelike colours, but not as saturated as the ones shot at the boat show. Sweet sweet 100 grain, this produces very amazing results. I'd say it's every bit as good as Fuji PRO160S but has the advantage of being still available.

Both on the same kit, both within 10 minutes and 100 yards of each other. Hopefully, being as this film was first produced in 2008 (ie: well into the digital age) Kodak will keep it in their product range for some time to come.

Bought this film at a great price back in December when I was about to buy my go to film, Gold. Light conditions make a HUGE difference.

I'm especially impressed with how well the colours look even in all sorts of artificial light. I shoot some film becuase i love it so much,, This film is nice,, very fine and colour is good,, hard to explain as it is subjective but i like the hues it produces. Unfortunately these tones are so prominent that they will render skin tones with a red hue, which is quite unpleasant. Most certainly a film to take on holiday to capture scenery or epic moments.

I knew very little about ektar at the time but after reading the reviews that praised the warm tones and find grain I was completely sold. Apparently this is common with Ektar as it is very colourful; personally I prefer Portra for its realistic reproduction, but the blueness of this works for street photography and other applications that could harness it.

Check out my examples below. Thanks Kodak. The tones are indeed very warm, especially the oranges and reds. I can confirm that the film is practically grainless, even beating than portra in the grain department.
