Completely transforms how writing is taught in a primary school setting. Only downside for me: print is quite tiny (didn't stop me from almost finishing the book at 2am though). This has led to some of the most impressive peer discussions around writing that I have ever seen. I would highly recommend this.

The idea behind sentence stacking seems overly prescriptive in theory but I've often found my children trail off and don't know what to do after I've modelled a whole paragraph of 3 to 4 lines at a go, even when the modelled piece is staring them right in the face. It kept me reflecting on my practice and how I could embed some of the principles in my Year 5 class come September (my school uses a different writing scheme and I can't completely overhaul that).
