Keep at rest and obtain medical attention, show the container label. The colour can be further enhanced by applying our Superior Danish Oil or our Water Based Titan Topcoat. Protection of first aiders: No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training. If applying to decking, use our Decking Oil Plus+ for greater protection against wear and tear and maximise the UV protection. Littlefair's Water Based Exterior Wood Dye will provide excellent outdoor protection and enhance the grain of the wood to create a natural matt appearance. The decking oil will dry back to a natural looking matt when applied over the dye and create the ‘duck’s back’ water beading effect. If accidentally swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.

It dries to a matt finish so I just used another cloth to rub down the surface to bring out the grain. I made a mistake when ordering a new chair - I ordered the wrong colour legs and they didn’t match our existing sofa!

However as it is solid wood, it can be refinished, the problem was going to be colour matching which can work out pretty expensive having to buy even the smallest pots in most outlets. I am so pleased with this wood stain! I then applied two coats of the wood stain (dark oak). I then applied 3 coats of matt varnish over the top.

The only negative is that it tends to mask the grain rather than enhancing it, more like a paint than a stain. A little bit goes a very long way, I barely used any! I think another third coat would make it too uniform. The stain is low odour and works fine.

Dark Oak is just dark chocolate (think 70% Cocoa) but the final effect does depend on the underlying texture, colour and chosen application. But two coats provided ample coverage.
Derby Den
These 35mm wooden magnetic playing pieces were originally all the same plywood colour so I just used their magnets with a metal support to dip each one into the stain; allowed it to drain and used an old cloth to dab off the excess from the edges. Once dried, very stable, it’s quite robust in quality, it’s been a few months since I painted the wood, and it still holds very nicely. Needed a small amount of different coloured stain to finish an art deco feature on my fire surround. I have solid wood kitchen units stained "warm oak" with matching cornicing, dado etc.

The table now matches the rest of my furniture, the Teak colour is great! Used it to paint the wooden frame of my coffee table. When it arrived I looked at all colours and picked the ones I thought would be closest to try, using a very small brush to dab a little on. I sanded my well loved table down with an electric sander.
