Dustin portrays Julie and Sam's emotions so well. Her isolation and avoidance makes complete sense. It made me sob in the first few pages and I struggled to read alot of it without shedding a tear. I really love the cover of this book i think its beautiful.

I liked this book. Definitely recommend. There were some beautiful themes throughout, like the cherry blossoms and music, that made the book feel romantic and beautifully tragic. They're happy and excited for the future; until Sam dies.

It was a very moving display of how grief affects everyone differently, especially under such tragic circumstances. You've Reached Sam is a tear-jerker throughout, so get the tissues ready!

It didn't lol 😆it was giving 🌟NOTHING🌟 Sam's grief is all-consuming and you really feel her pain. Whilst trying to come to terms with losing him she rings his phone to hear his voicemail but instead Sam actually answers and they are given a second chance to say goodbye. The memory-jumping wasn't always super clear, so sometimes it was a bit disorientating.

The ending was very sad for me. The ending had me in floods of tears, it was truly gut wrenching but beautiful and comforting at the same time. I liked all the people in this book, especially the friendship between Julie and Oliver. And he answers.

Tiktok made me buy it, it better live up to the hype. He just didn't come across well at times. This book was just wow. Made me sob countless times but it was beautiful.

You've reached Sam is a really beautiful story showing how grief affects you, and how letting go and saying goodbye truly is the hardest part. One of my pretty looking books i own. In a moment of desperation, she calls Sam just to hear his voicemail message.
