Attached a photo (left bracket below), because when you insert the metal part into the transparent you can scratch it inside and then seen from the outside. Overall, a great product and suits my needs perfectly!

My less positive experience is that one side of the stand easily shoots out of the plastic bridge when it is picked up or moved. Helpful to prevent the laptop from sliding off, however there is soft rubber that extend from the length of the top angle which prevents the laptop from sliding off anyway, so I have never used them.

*I've attached some photos, first one showing it with the double-decker setup I have (don't mind the cable mess I'm sorting out in the back), one photo with flash on it and a Jaeger for scale, and one of my current desk setup. My positive experiences: The design is beautiful and when it is put together and on my desk it is very sturdy. I would still buy it again and again, but before plugging it together, make sure the edges are round and sanded.

It's well-made and sturdy enough. This is easily the best solution I've found from the products I looked through on amazon, and would highly recommend it if you too want to switch between 2 devices.

-Two metal legs, which have rubber feet, discreet and cannot be seen, but most vitally it ensures the laptop stand does not mark the surface and remains stable. I will address the bouncing that people are complaining about though. I already bought three Griffin Elevator before, two I use myself, one I gave away, and me and the recipient are totally satisfied.

I recommend the purchase The scratches can no longer be removed, which looks incredibly ugly.
