Five Stars. Absolutely fab little bit of kit.

99 but decided I didn’t have much to lose and recognised the name “Stanley“ as a good DIY brand so decided for the price I would give it a risk. It says that it will accept a standard blade from the Stanley tool range so it can easily be replaced when it eventually blunts out. This tool is super useful when scrapping off old silicone from tiles instead of risking cutting your fingers when just using a stanley blade the old fashioned way.

Very sturdy and takes a Stanley blade for easy swapping. As you can see in the before and after photos, it looks almost brand new!

I didn’t really believe that this would do much at the cheap price of £1. - So far i have used on plastic, steel, glass and also bits of bad sealant jobs in bathrooms and have had no issues. When trying to get my balance, I accidentally knocked it against the PVC window frame and it took a small chunk out. Even though it is only made out of plastic, I don't see it being a problem unless you are being too heavy handed with it.

I admit that the blades did go blunt quickly but that was expected with the amount of grease caked on. But this is typical of what i use these for.

Good value for money. I've scraped paint off of windows, pvc doorframes and even used it to chip off bumps on walls before painting.

Bought this to clean the oven door and it worked a treat. Overall, be careful as you would with any sharp blade, use on the right jobs, be careful with how you apply pressure and this is a great little addition to any tool box or kitchen drawer!
