setting sand for patio slabs

This kept appearing so I thought I'd give it a try. It definitely looks better than I started, lots of comments from neighbours and seems to be keeping the ants at bay, so 5* for me. Has set nice and hard few days after watering. Cue this bag of setting sand mix, designed to be spread and then swept into the narrow gaps between paving blocks or patio slabs.

Used to fill in gaps in my garden where old concrete etc has broken away. It swept in easily, and by next morning had set to the hardness of dry chewing gum, which is much better than regular sand. I also used it on some bigger joints that advised 10mm+ and it seems ok so far after a couple of weeks. The product sets well though it does take a couple of days to harden up.

Easy to use just brushed in and lightly watered several times. Gave 5* for "easy to remove" as it isn't easy to do so (from the joints) and that's what I wanted.

Jet washed out all the joints of my patio (which was extremely messy! I then poured this sand and swept it into each join between the slabs, then wet it gently with a watering can which had a rose on the spout. Overall good product, easy to use, decent value for money. I reckon too much water would wash out the resin.

I removed all existing sand from my paving so I used allot more and only managed to cover a fairly small area. One or 2 places insects have popped through but this was when it was still setting so need to re do those but have been fine since set.

Its easy enough to sweep in and sets hard once finished so no complaints from me. I recently laid a new patio at home, its the first time I've attempted this and did a bit of Google research to see what I should point between the slabs with.
