However, the seat now remains on the suckers and stays firm as it moves up and down - staying securely in the bath even when a person is on the seat. It feels like hard rubber as unlike silicone which feels spongy and soft. For both inside and outside applications. We bought the white version and used it to fix some discs in the bath in order that the rubber suction pads for the bath lift stayed secure whilst the lift operated in the bath.

But once smoothed through using a silicone smoothing tool it looked very nice. The finish is not smooth as you'd get from silicone but you don't get pinholes and the finished product is alot more durable. I used this to re-seal my shower which was sealed from new less than a year ago.

It was very thick due it being out of date I've even went over the ob1 seal again once the first cost had dried out by an extra 2mm 8mm in total.

With OB1 I'm really confident that there won't ever be a situation of it pealing shrinking cracking or even letter water through The silicone used was an expensive brand and colour matched to the grout, but this had started to show signs of deteriorating, and pealing at some of the corners and at random points.

Rather than neglect the issues and to have problems with potential leaks, I stripped the entire seal off using multi solve and a scalpol knifeset and a silicone remover set. An excellent marine silicone.

I left the OB1 to dry out for 4 days before using the shower to ensure 100% curing of the seal. Once the surface was clean and degreased I applied the OB1.
