I agree that tonic kills the taste, but on it's own or with ginger ale you're in for a treat. I did not like it with tonic water but preferred it neat or with soda water and ice.

The marketing is exceptional, evoking the cherry blossom (Sakura) that Japan is famous for. It’s a very cute size a perfect as a stocking stuffer but I would not pay this price. way too expensive for 20CL! This is nicely packaged if you were to gift it, but, and it’s a big but this is only 200ml, so 500ml less than a normal sized bottle.

Roku gin is a family favourite and we really love pairing it with a yuzu tonic. The bottle itself is super pretty and it makes a very good gift for a gin lover.

It uses a very, very classy card & design in the packaging and has a strong silk(? This is a delicious and unique gin made with Japanese botanicals.
E.S.P
The standard sized gin itself can be purchased for not a lot more if you like it and want to buy more. Then there's the price.
