I have been using these for years and had no problems with them, would definitely recommend. A little bit cross as these are by far the most expensive filters. Having said that filters are decent quality and last approx 1 month (used twice a day on adverage) Towards the end of the month I can notice that they are coming to the end of there life. NOTE FOR FUTURE: Check contents when they arrive rather than waiting till you need them just in case.

They seem wet upon opening due to sterilisation but they arent used. Attaching images from the experiment. My previous experiences with cheaper alternatives were not particularly good. These filter cartridges are readily available at a reasonable price - a 6 month supply costing about £20 on Amazon.

I have bought ones that claim to fit brita but they dont. I always buy Brita filters as I find these taste the best in comparison to other brands I've tried. We use our jug a lot and this taste goes after a few days, but this could hang around for a bit if you don’t use yours that often.

I will stay with maxtra + for now as I'm happy with no scale in the kettle and water tastes better. When I came to get another, I noticed that the box looked like it had been opened before but was glued down everywhere (i failed to notice this when they were delivered as I just put them straight in the cupboard. Overall very pleased with the Brita system it makes the water taste much better and stops the scale forming in the kettle and coffee machine. Highly recommended!

These ones were cheaper than in shops absolute steal! However, I have no idea as to their quality or longevity.
