This release from the Brugal team is very exciting indeed, it is not only double distilled but then matured in American Oak Barrels and then after this lengthy period, it is further matured in Spanish Oak Sherry Casks! Nearly 130 years later, Brugal is still crafted by the Brugal Family and only family members can become a ‘Maestro Ronero’. Palate: Dark fruits with some light vanilla and toffee, dark chocolate and raisins with a hint of sweet pepper, honey and waffles with a dash dried fruits, caramel with toffee wafers round this deliciously smooth rum.
