I have a large modern car with soft suspension, but even then, the camera is sometimes triggered by slowing down and then going over a speed hump. The video quality is very good when viewed on my desktop screen and more than adequate in my opinion to record any incident you need to in good enough detail.

I do like the wild angle of view as well. Once the card is removed then viewing/copying files on your desktop is easy. I managed to fit the camera behind the rear view mirror so that it is out of view from the drivers seat. After doing lots of research and watching endless video, it's clear you can't get any camera as good as this for anywhere near the price.

I had to adjust the sensitivity of the G-Sensor (which 'beeps' and saves a section of video if it thinks it has detected a bump/accident) as mine kept triggering when I went over little pot holes. I record in 1 minute segments.
