Would recommend for anybody home recording. Previously, I bought a behringer UCA202. The two ports have individual gain controls, and are universal - so take XLR and regular inputs. I can't stress how important that is for my setup.

I literally now have a portable podcast studio. The signal quality though is solid. Never had any noticable noise on the headphone jack or the microphone pre-amps, although you can get a bit of noise on the monitors, especially on poorly shielded USB connections. The outputs on the back are balanced! I am using dynamic rather than condenser mics mics, so I don't need the phantom power, but I have that as well.

Gets the job done, fits well in a backpack. The buffer size could be better, as you only can select between 1-6 and not actually 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 etcAlso, can't figure out how to get loopback to work. I bought a cable splitter for the monitor out so both the guest an I can listen to the recording without a delay.
