We use only long thread pure cotton to make our 220 thread count pure cotton percale which creates a crisp and hard wearing bed linen perfectly suited for everyday use Instructions: Soak the 220 grit stone in water for about 10 minutes before sharpening. King stones are known for its smooth and consistent slurry when sharpening so do not wash the slurry off when sharpening. Always keep stones wet when sharpening. Made in Japan

It isn't very big, but it is cheap and easy to work on and it only required a few minutes' effort to repair a 1. 5mm chip, before moving on to a 1000 grit to sharpen. Hard to know how long it'll last but has already paid for itself. Really pleased with this little stone.
