I used the perm according to directions with white and gray rods from Sallys. Then I use the Remington hot rollers on those days when the curl is loose. After shampoo I set hair on magnetic rollers and set under the dryer.
I currently have a fairly fresh perm Zotos Acclaim (naturally STRAIGHT hair) and my length is long and fine and thinning on top. The roller set will travel easy due to be very light.
Now I use argon oil to nourish my hair. My hair has always been dry and I find the additional heat adds to the dryness plus I do not over shampoo.
I have used hot rollers for 40+ years. Many different versions most with steam. The picture is 4 days after shampoo using this product. This gives me a firm curl that last a few days.
