I own a few other brush tipped pens from pentel and this one is just as loved as the rest. Anyways the ink is super dark, opaque and rich. To be perfectly honest, I found this while looking through holiday deals and it was pretty and I needed stocking stuffers. The ink is supposedly water resistant but I have yet to test that.

The cartridges can be refilled with ink (just check some y*utube videos for this easy diy). Would recommend if you are looking for a good brush pen using pigment ink. The media could not be loaded.
