The oven with the added recommendations held a steady and even heat in 40 degree weather with wind. It was propane too. Both bought on Amazon.

I have stoves. I need another one for my Hurricane Closet. I put them in 2 small bread pans, and turned several times.

You can make a windscreen of heavy duty aluminum foil with multiple layers that cover the back, top and sides. Got this because I wanted muffins and cinnamon rolls in the mornings when I camp. Nomex (DuPont) thread- 40 yards on a metal bobin sold by Profox: The right amount and the most economical, and most of all NON-FLAMMABLE! The wind was picking up, and the heat was hard to regulate, so we moved it inside to the trailer and put it on the large burner.

A couple of practises ,and now putting it up is second-nature. If it gets breezy to windy, it will cool off the oven quickly. Will update my review with I do.

So even before delivery I ordered a temperature gage and some small pizza stones for the bottom. I have been wanting one of these ovens for quite some time but they are difficult and expensive to get hold of in the UK.

Almost 60 years. The temperature is going to fluctuate wildly depending on the surrounding environment.
Steel Heart
Everything rose beautifully, was cooked through, and browned nicely. Do not rely on this to tell you what the inside temp is. Fully recommend the use of a 'pizza' stone inside the oven under food tray to distribute the heat (and it does get hot) to reduce burning the base of biscuits, cakes etc.
