This Diamond Dresser attachment for the Goodson Powered Piston Ring Filer mounts easily to keep the abrasive wheel cutting fast and true. 120 grit silicon carbide wheel holds shape and produces clean, precise cuts. Each of the filers includes a diamond-coated file wheel for fast accurate cuts and increased durability. Position the piston ring firmly against the dowel pins and crank the handle to turn the abrasive wheel. Both models come with 120-grit grinding wheels with replacements sold separately. I used this for my LS7 (7 liter V8) fresh from the machine shop. By the last ring I had to turn the wheel considerably more than when I began, but I guess that is to be expected. 018”, the wheel was pretty much done for. I used Total Seal’s file to fit rings.
Perfect ant easy 2 bolt installation. It will need a new wheel if I ever intend on using this for another V8, so you 4cyl guys will be fine.
