Fortunately, there is an adapter available from another retailer that should correct the issue. It's not uncommon to be sat down 8-12 hours or more at a stretch. It fits all of that stuff without having to shift anything around; what's more, adjusting between seated and standing positions is sturdy and smooth enough that I don't have to move loose items around out of fear of dropping anything.

Just take out of the box, put on your table, and you're ready to go. I already have a pretty decent table, but it's not adjustable at all - this 'hybrid' model works perfectly, by essentially transforming my static desk into something height adjustable. It's here where this desk REALLY shines.

Looking back, I'm glad it broke, to adjust the height was more difficult and it was not as stable. In summary, this VARIDESK is definitely worth the price!

My pic only has one monitor active - I chose to do this in that I can also use my laptop as another screen and fit both facing me no problems (there is lots of space), I just rather have one monitor active. - I am 5'3" and the desk is perfect height at the 4th or 5th level (there are 10 heights you can set this to). You can tell the build is heavy duty and will last many years. It feels sturdy, though I did learn that it's not a good idea to lean on it too heavily, as it did shift down a bit.

I tried another type of variable height desk and it broke within on the second day I had it. This means you can stand straight without having the hunch over because your legs are close to the desk below. The desk was shipped from the Netherlands but I believe it's manufactured in the US. Yet this doesnt compromise on stability.

3) the desk is pretty heavy as well, I think the description says this thing is 50 pounds or so, you can lift this at the gym as a dumbell but given the surface area looks like this, i highly advice you to have two people set this thing up, you do not want to drop this on you toes. I finally purchased this after working from home for a year and wish I had made the investment long ago.

I bought the Pro Plus 36, and later added the rubber mat and adjustable monitor arm. A fellow employee is already thinking about getting one. I'm incredibly happy with the Pro Plus 36 version, which is perfect for my dual monitors (17" each).
